Face of the Day: Kim Fletcher
Kim Fletcher is one of the good ones, we tell ya’! It is enthusiastic taste-makers like Kim that keep our beloved town poignant, stylish and utterly delightful. As youth services coordinator for the Lawrence Public Library Kim has a penchant for tales of heroism, magic and intrigue, and came to Wink in search of the perfect eyewear to embody those qualities. Her ophthalmologist father imbued Kim with fine taste for unique eyewear and thus she was enthralled when happening upon Etnia Barcelona’s summer collection of flat metals.
This Etnia Barcelona Agra frame in matte white has an ethereal appearance, and seems to simply float atop Kim’s youthful smile. We think her new look has the coy wit of the Cheshire cat and the glowing prestige of Wonder Woman’s belt. Equipped with her new look Kim is delighted to continue her idyllic post as lead youth librarian.
This month is Read Across Lawrence and Kim’s team is introducing The Kronos Chronicles to the children of Douglas County with the debut novel The Cabinet of Wonders by Maria Rutkoski.

Etnia Barcelona Trunk Show
Explore the newest series of eyewear from Etnia Barcelona with us this weekend! Normally we are only capable of exhibiting forty to sixty pieces of any one collection, but during a trunk show we have the capacity to show the complete line in its entirety.

Etnia Barcelona is the independent brand of eyewear whose collection focuses on color, design, comfort, value and quality. When we started Etnia ten years ago, we had no knowledge how to create a brand, little understanding about global logistics, and no marketing expertise. What we did have was the desire to win over the world with our designs, a commitment to quality, a desire to delight our customers, to continue improve and innovate the perfect eyewear collection Etnia Barcelona.

Diana Toro
Diana Toro is a fourth year KU school of pharmacy student (so she’s crazy smart,) but of course a girl has to have a little fun from time to time. That’s why Diana chose this amazing Brasilia from etnia Barcelona in a variegated black pearl plastic with highlights of white checks. A striking and lively combo that lives up to this gorgeous gal! We like it!
